Usage Tips
ScarAway® Silicone Scar Sheets
By following these simple guidelines for usage, you can derive maximum benefits from innovative and clinically proven ScarAway Silicone Scar Sheets
- The patch-like application makes each 1.5 x 3″ silicone sheet easy to apply. Simply wash and dry the scar area, peel away the sheet’s backing, and apply the adhesive side to the scar.
- ScarAway Sheets can be used on both old and new scars. With new scars, they can be used as soon as the skin is healed (no crusting or oozing). With old scars, they can be used any time, assuming the skin has healed.
- Sheets can be cut with a clean household scissors to fit a smaller scar, or two sheets can be used together to cover a larger scarred area. Standard and C section sizes are offered. For hard-to-treat or exposed areas, use the new ScarAway™ Scar Diminishing Serum.
- Sheets can be worn under clothing; remove for showering or bathing and store in provided case.
- Each sheet lasts approximately one week; remove while bathing or showering and keep in convenient storage case that comes with kit.
- Many users notice a softening of their scars almost immediately; for best results continue use for eight weeks or more.
